Freestylers - Push up

The Freestylers formed in 1996 when DJs and dance music producers Matt Cantor, Aston Harvey and (initially) Andrew Galea joined forces. All three of them had been involved in the British dance music scene since the 1980s. Cantor had recorded as Cut n' Paste and Strike with Andy Gardner (Plump DJs). Aston Harvey recorded as Blapps! Posse best known for the 1990 breakbeat dance hit "Don't Hold Back" before working with Definition of Sound, Rebel MC and DJ Rap (as DJ Rap and Aston). Harvey joined with Galea under the name Sol Brothers before Cantor was recruited to form the Freestylers. The group took their name from their first sample "Don't Stop The Rock" by Freestyle.

The sexiest videos of 2006

Again, the yearly special you've been waiting for during the past 365 days... sit back and relax, get a cold beer and get ready to enjoy the following visual anthems:

And a bonus track from 2005 I could not leave out of the list:

Ian Brown - F.E.A.R.

Ian Brown (born February 20, 1963) is an English musician and former lead singer of the indie rock band The Stone Roses and is held in high regard among music fans across the UK for his work with The Stone Roses. Since the band's break up in 1996, Brown has released 4 solo albums to critical acclaim across Britain. He has appeared on several club tours and has performed at the Glastonbury Festival three times since 1998.

In 2005 Brown designed a pair of Adidas Superstar trainers as part of the product's 35th anniversary promotion for a limited run of 5000 pairs.

The Stone Roses - Fools Gold

The Stone Roses were an influential rock band from England active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Along with other bands such as the Happy Mondays, they comprised the core of the Madchester Baggy scene, centred around Manchester, England. Their 1989 eponymous debut album quickly achieved the status of a classic in the UK, and topped NME's list of the Greatest Albums of All Time. They released a second album, Second Coming, in 1994 and split in 1996.

Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler

The Bomfunk MC's are a Finnish rap/electro act, formed in 1998. The group's front man is B.O. Dubb (formerly known as B.O.W., born Raymond Ebanks) and the main producer is Jaakko "JS16" Salovaara.

The debut release was the 1999's album In Stereo (Sony Music) with the singles "Freestyler", "Uprocking Beats" and "B-Boys & Flygirls", all big hits in their native land. The success led to the release of "Freestyler" first in Scandinavia and Germany.

By 2000, "Freestyler" had become a big hit in Europe and it was the year's biggest-selling single in Europe. With success especially in Denmark and Germany, the single also reached number one in Ireland and number two in the UK. Also in 2000, they won Best Nordic Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Nevertheless, the single did spark controversy. The line "Who the fuck is Alice, is she from Buckingham Palace?" has never been censored on any radio release, and the video - featured a lot of product placement by Sony.

In 2002, the group released the album Burnin' Sneakers, spawning the singles "Super Electric", "Live Your Life" featuring Max'C, and "Something Goin' On" with Jessica Folcker. This album gained less attention internationally, though selling well in Finland. "Something Going On" reached the German top 20.

In September 2002, DJ Gismo decided to leave the band, being promptly replaced by Riku Pentti (DJ) and Okke Komulainen (keyboards), together with bassist Ville Mäkinen collectively known as The Skillsters Plus One. After they joined, Bomfunk MC's released a special remix of "Back to Back".

In 2004, the album Reverse Psychology was released through Universal Music, preceded by the single "No Way in Hell". In the autumn that year they released another single from that album, "Hypnotic" featuring Elena Mady. Half of the album was produced by JS16, and the other half by The Skillsters Plus One.

"Reverse Psychology" and its singles did not garner much attention outside Finland and the rest of Scandinavia. Both of the singles reached the German top 100, but did not chart elsewhere in Western Europe. The band is still extremely popular in several Eastern European and former Soviet states.

Despite being on a major label, Bomfunk MC's music has been extremely hard to find in most record stores across the globe since 2001. Also, the Bomfunk MC's website is notorious among fans of the band for its lack of updates. The eastern European market is rife with bootlegs of Bomfunk MC's records- with many regularly surfacing on eBay. This has become somewhat of a standing joke among fans.

Iggy pop - Little know it all

James Newell Osterberg, Jr. (born on April 21, 1947 in Muskegon, Michigan), better known by his stage name Iggy Pop, is an American rock singer and occasional actor. Although he has had only limited commercial success, Pop is considered one of the most important innovators of punk rock and related styles. He is sometimes referred to by the nicknames "the Godfather of Punk" and "the Rock Iguana", and is widely acknowledged as one of the most dynamic stage performers of rock. Pop was the lead singer of The Stooges, a late 1960s/early 1970s band that was highly influential in the development of Heavy Metal. The Stooges became infamous for their live performances in which Pop leapt off the stage (thus inventing the "stage dive"), smeared raw meat and on one occasion peanut butter over his chest and cut himself with broken bottles. Many subsequent performers have imitated Pop’s antics.

Although he would never revisit the primal vitality of his days with the Stooges, Pop has had varying degrees of success in his 25 years as a solo artist. His best-known songs include "Lust for Life", "I'm Bored", "Real Wild Child", the Top 40 hit "Candy", and "The Passenger" (the latter based on a poem written by Jim Morrison).

thee michelle gun elephant - candy house

Thee Michelle Gun Elephant (also known as TMGE) was a Japanese Garage band of notable popularity in its country of origin. Its music is known for the loud guitars of Abe Futoshi and lead singer Chiba Yusuke's loud, gravelly yet melodious vocals. Other members of the band include Kuhara Kazuyuki (drums) and Ueno Koji (bass). The band was formed while the band members were students at Tokyo's Meiji Gakuin University, and their name came from a combination of the name of Billy Childish's offbeat band Thee Headcoats and a former bassist's mispronunciation of the name of The Damned's album, Machine Gun Etiquette.

Nelly Kim Furtado (born December 2, 1978) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and record producer.

Furtado came to fame in 2000 with the release of her debut album Whoa, Nelly!, which featured the Grammy Award-winning single "I'm like a Bird" and "Turn off the Light". After giving birth to daughter Nevis and releasing the less commercially successful Folklore (2003), she returned to prominence in 2006 with the release of Loose and its hit singles, "Promiscuous", "Maneater" and in late 2006, "Say It Right". She has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Nelly is known for experimenting with different instruments, sounds, genres, languages, and vocal styles. Arctic Monkeys- I bet you look good on the dancefloor Live

Arctic Monkeys are a four-piece indie rock/post-punk revival band from High Green, a suburb of Sheffield, England. Their first two singles, "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and "When The Sun Goes Down", both went straight to number one in the UK Singles Chart.[1] Formed in 2002, the band currently consists of Alex Turner on lead vocals and guitar, Jamie Cook on rhythm guitar, Matt Helders on drums and backing vocals and Nick O'Malley on bass guitar, a position formerly held by Andy Nicholson.

Unlike many of their contemporaries, who were marketed and advertised extensively by record labels, Arctic Monkeys achieved their success through fan-made demo tapes and online file-sharing, with fans singing along at gigs of songs which had never been officially released,[2] leading media commentators to discuss the possibility of a sea change in the way in which new bands are promoted and marketed.
